Lumie was created out of a passion for progress and a frustration of the traditional agency model. Founded by Andy Fox in 2026 after experiencing the alternative for too long. Agencies who lacked clarity on the clients offering, working to fill a retainer and relying on junior team members to execute senior work. I wanted to create something that provided better support from within the business - an extension of your team, not an external hire. I've worked in marketing & design roles in-house for the last 15 years and traditional marketing agencies work at arm's length. A brief goes in to a distant team, work comes out, and nobody inside the business owns the thinking. Lumie works the other way. It's a relationship that's embedded in your business, close to the decision makers, leading the strategy and answerable for what gets built, similar to a full-time hire, but without the commitment and overhead. The approach is proven and effective, helping to grow businesses from the inside, whilst leaning on a wider, specialist team of trusted partners where additional resource is needed.
